There’s always room for Lightning Head in just about every set I do. Never fails
Tim “Love Lee”, Boy Scout recordings, Tummy Touch
"Power of the Great" sounds like one of the possible singles, the bass is amazing, soundwise, just like "Preguntas Por Que". I dig Earl Zinger's poetry in "Shark Finn Soup", the eerie Carpenter soundtrack-like analogue feel is real dope, especially put under a slow afro beat. “Sousaphunk” sounds like it's taken out of Beastie Boys "The In Sounds From Way Out". “Rascal Republic” sounds like a lost Africa 77 track, the warmth of the recording shivers me timbers... the hot Rhodes versus the sax is the best way to wrap up the album, it is SOOOO beautiful.
DJ Kaspar, Groovement, Portugal
